Food For Thought

Isn't it interesting that the medical profession claims that marijuana is a gateway drug when 90% of heroine addicts started by taking prescription drugs?

The United States while representing 5% of the world's population, imprisons 25% of its population. The prison populations in America are being reduced, not because of empathy, but because the states can no longer afford to house all of these Black men.

Don't be fooled. The entire charade involving charter schools, vouchers, etc., is nothing but a scheme to privatize America's educational system.

Does the re-election of Benjamin Netanyahu eliminate the chance of there ever being peace between Israel and Palestine?

Do you think that the ISIS formula for recruiting disenfranchised young men and women will be taken more seriously when it manifests itself in America?

Aren't we at a bad place in this country when Black people have to refer to "good white people" as "good white people"?

Now that the college basketball tournament has started, do you wonder how many young men will be leaving school as soon as their team loses because of the NCAA's "one n' done" rule?

Isn't it a blessing when an African American college student gets beaten by police instead of shot? Wow, this didn't last very long. They're starting all over again by hanging Black men.

Wouldn't it be nice if Creflo Dollar asked his congregation to raise $ 65 million dollars to send their kids to college and pay their mortgages instead of to buy him a new jet?
