"Pay the lady $ 1,600 dollars and you should go on a campaign, particularly in the Black community and tell them how you can get away with spitting in a policeman's face and kicking them".
These were the words spoken by Judge Greg Mathis on his TV show after adjudicating a case between Ms. Ray Lynn Hutchinson and Derek Leinonen. Both white and from Cedar Lake, Indiana.
Ms.. Hutchinson had taken Derek to court for destroying one of her rooms at her extended stay hotel where Derek was staying with a friend.
The two young men had gotten drunk after drinking bottles of brandy and decided that they no longer liked the room in which they were staying. The proceeded to break mirrors and windows, as well as smear blood all over the walls. To make matters worse, Derek and his buddy had not paid rent for two weeks.
The police were called and while trying to arrest Derek were attacked and before Derek could be subdued he spat in one officer's face and kicked another.
Judge Mathis has been receiving some internet flak from white people about what he said and how his comments were not indicative of what a judge should be saying to a defendant in his courtroom.
Of course, we all know that judge's have the authority to say almost anything in their "kingdom" and African Americans and everyone in American should know where Judge Mathis was coming from.
As Judge Mathis' Show was being filmed in Chicago, David C. Nicosia, a 55 year old white man was spitting on an African American Judge named Arnetta Hubbard outside of the Daley Center. The 79 year old female judge was smoking near Mr. Nicosia and was attacked by the man while he was calling her "Rosa Parks" and screaming for her to move away from him.
All of this happened after the police arrived and to add insult to injury, Mr. Nicosia slapped Ms. Hubbard in the face and spat on her a second time while continuing to scream racial epitaphs. He was eventually taken away and arrested without harm. Mad Man really only has one question. What does a white man have to do in America to get shot by the police?
