Negros Please !

As Levi Pettit, who was recently expelled from the University of Oklahoma and a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity for making and singing extremely racist and disparranging remarks about African Americans, holds a press conference to profusely apologize, what's wrong with this picture?

There are too many Black faces on the podium in support of this obviously very racist young man. Mad Man doesn't want to hear the excuse that young, drunk kids will say and do anything. In today's climate of hate and mistreatment of African Americans, this boy should know better and kept his feelings to himself. Ladies and gentlemen, this is what white privilege looks and acts like.

Furthermore, Mr. Pettit is only apologizing because he got caught. But what's even more dreadful is that the Negroes that stand with him are typical of what's been ailing African Americans for years. If you keep on excusing white people for their mistreatment of your race, what makes you think that they will ever stop.

What makes being African American even worse is that you have Negroes who create these Uncle Tom looking scenes all of the time and in some cases it doesn't even include kissing up to white people.

Everyone remembers O.J. Simpson, who was acquitted of killing Nichole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. After his acquittal O.J., who had been exclusively operating in white society after disowning the Black community for years, was deserted by all of his white friends.

After his acquittal, O.J. marched right down to First AME Church in Los Angeles and connected with his brothers and sisters of color and they accepted him with open arms. It is not important whether O.J. was guilty or not, but why would African Americans open their arms and church to a guy who had done nothing for their community for years.

Mr. Simpson did manage to buy Nichole's mother and father a travel agency and a car rental franchise. But, could not find the time or finances to do anything for a deserving African American and yet, we praised him for being found not guilty under some very extenuating circumstances.

By the way, let's give a shout out to the late Johnnie Cochran for his splendid manipulation of the legal system and expose the LA District Attorney's office for making mistake after mistake in the handling of the case where two you people were needlessly murdered. His tactics are now being taught in many law school classes.

Back to the Negroes in the picture. When Jesse Jackson made racist remarks about Jews of New York "living in Hymie Town" and held a press conference to apologize, not one Jew stood with him. Furthermore, that was the beginning of the demise of Mr. Jackson and his "Rainbow Coalition" and even worse, it was revealed that he had fathered a child with a young lady who was eventually shipped out of Chicago and now lives in Los Angeles.

But African Americans feel that the only way to acceptance is to keep on forgiving those who disrespect them over and over again. Unfortunately, these misguided actions will continue until African Americans stop being dependent consumers and create wealth among themselves. Malcolm X had the right idea but the white media turned African Americans against him and his philosophy.

Mad Man doesn't care how many times that Mr. Levi Pettit apologizes. The important question to ask the Negroes on the podium is what are you doing, why are you there and what good will come from your presence? And to Mr. Pettit, was it peer pressure, the media, or your family, that made you dislike African Americans so much?
