Another Smart Business Man

Greetings my fellow Observers,

I know for a fact that Donald Trump is having more "gotcha" moments with the media than the media is having with him. And he continues to prove on a daily basis that so far, he's the smartest candidate out there. Let's face it, he is even smarter than Hilary who is so hidden and withdrawn that she constantly appears that she's hiding something extremely damaging.

But, my fellow Observers, there's another very smart Presidential candidate in the Republican race to the white house that belies all reason and his name is Ben Carson, the famously successful pediatric neurosurgeon who gained fame by separating Siamese twins who were conjoined at the head.

You would think that white Americans, mostly the far Republican right, would not want to ever see, nor contemplate, another black man running for President, but here he is, running right behind Donald Trump and doing very well.

Carson contends that it is his faith in GOD that drives him to be the man that he is while he decries Obamacare as the worst thing that has happened in this century as well as ride the "Obama is the devil" bandwagon. It is almost like watching a white man covered with black paint when you watch and listen to Ben Carson. 

Of course, this brother knows on which side his bread is buttered as he has joined the parade of privileged Americans who after retiring from medicine has earned approximately $ 4 million dollars in two years when making speeches. 

What is Ben Carson's secret? It's easy to see. He's telling bigoted and racist white people what they want to hear. As a doctor, how can you speak so negatively of Obamacare when millions of Americans are testifying to anyone who will listen how this life changing legislation has changed and saved their lives?

Yes, he's trying to gain traction with the 1% who presently rule this country and because he's new to the scene he is getting a lot of attention. The American public is pissed right now because the Republicans have fucked this country up so badly that it is now beginning to drastically affect the middle class which is comprised of moderate Americans who just want to earn a decent living and get along with their fellow citizens.

Many Americans who had great paying jobs are being replaced by computers and the outsourcing of work to low wage earning and impoverished countries. In the most capitalistic country ever created, Americans define themselves by their jobs and their worth and when that dwindles, they will become discouraged and pissed. Let's face it, our privileged society is becoming more so than ever especially since these "helicopter parents" came on the scene.

So, those on the far right who are blinded by racism and bigotry and buttressed by the political feel good rhetoric as delivered by a smooth talking and calm black doctor, they will flock to his side and support him.  

What Ben Carson doesn't understand is that if he thinks that he is in the right crowd in his damning of President Obama, he had better review recent history because Obama's honeymoon ended the day that he was elected. This black man is just another member of the far right status quo that is intent on keeping things the way that they are just like all of the white bigots that come out to praise him.
