On Friday, August 28th my work took me to the city of Avalon, CA which is located on Catalina Island. This island was once where the stars went to party. Above is the boat that I took.

 

I left Long Beach Harbor where the Queen Mary is docked and the picture above is where Howard Hughes stored the Spruce Goose.

 

On entering the harbor at Catalina Island, these are the condos that you will see.

 

This is the Avalon Casino which was once the ballroom where the stars partied.

 

I saw a guy dive from this boat with a spear gun

 

The city of Avalon is a quaint little town with small million dollar homes and a city that can be seen by foot or gold cart. No cars are allowed.

 

This was indeed a good Friday.
