An Insult To Most Americans

As the people of South Carolina prepare to bury their loved ones and friends who died at the hands of Dylaan Roof, the white dominated media and a few ignorant Negros are freaking out and over reporting President Obama's use of the word "nigger".

First of all, the President, being the very political savvy politician that he is, knew what type of response and discourse his remarks will garner however, what he didn't calculate was that there would be some people in America's forefront who would use his commentary to divert the citizens of this country's attention from the more pressing issue and that is the movement to get rid of the Confederate Flag from government owned spaces.

Let's be very, very honest. Being called a nigger in todays society is way down on the list of things that are hampering the advancement of Black people. When Mad Man has been subjected to this word, his response to the people around him who witnessed it and as the bigoted coward sped past, was that the person had to be an idiot with a limited vocabulary because calling a Black person a nigger is old news and outdated.

Sidebar: I find it quite interesting that in almost all cases white men call Black men niggers from afar or while they are speeding past.

Yet, here we are with the media laying it on thick in their efforts to try to pretend to try and tell what the President meant while knowing full well his reasoning for using the word. Part of the purpose was for effect and the other reason was that he used the word to emphatically phrase his narrative by accenting the most derogatory term that can be used to describe a Black person.

Although the removal of the flag is a minor detail in the overall scheme of race relations in America, it's a start and could be the beginning of something importantly significant. I just hope that Americans have the attention span and the courage to pursue this very meaningful attempt at solving race relations in this country.

I know that the media has a job to do but to spend a week discussing a word that President said and what they think that he meant is a little overkill or are they trying to divert America's attention away from the real issue and that is the discussion of race in America.

America's cowardly politicians and all of the capitalist elite are chiming in on this issue with the removal of flag because of two very important aspects of our society. As previously observed, Dylaan Roof, with his bigoted ignorance, didn't realize the trauma that he created in the entire religious community by murdering
these people in their church. Furthermore, the retail stores, who are removing the flag from its shelves realize that with 85% of Americans being religious, they had to make a serious financial decision. And there is a very factual saying that all Americans are familiar with and it is "money talks and BS walks"!!!!!!

Let's not be confused by these latest developments. This entire movement is not happening because people want to do it, it's because they must do it for financial and religiously moral reasons. Retail outlets respond when there is a threat of a boycott by religious white people and politicians respond when there is a threat of loss of votes by religious white people. Black people's participation is icing on the cake.

Now the African American media is clamoring to take down statues and rename roads and buildings which again, is yet another overreaching reaction to the horrendous history of America. These monuments would be less divisive if the true history of America were taught in our schools. We continue to educate the masses on the good that white men did but not the crimes committed before and after the civil war. The confederate flag is America's swastika.

For the last time, the confederate flag should never be flown over public property and be placed in a museum with its factual and printed history for all to see. Whatever happens is meaningless unless people of all races, creeds, and colors admit that they all have some very ugly skeletons in their closets regarding race relations in this country and have the courage to discuss them.
