Lies, lies, and more lies

Greetings my fellow Observers,

Sometimes I feel that my observations are so redundantly repetitious, but until these politicians stop lying over and over again, about the same subjects, I feel a strong desire to speak.

This time, the culprit is "Jeb", as he likes to be called because the last name, Bush",  carries such disgrace and disbelief with many Americans. Frankly, I am not really surprised by the continued delivery of misinformation by America's politicians and I'm not surprised by the illiterate American public's inability to see through it. Our politicians like it this way, Why else would they only want education for the elite and privileged, (rich white),  members of society?

During an public discussion with citizens, Jeb proudly applauded his brother, George W's surge on Iraq that eventually led to the killing of Saddam Hussein. Let's get one thing perfectly clear. George W. Bush wanted to kill Saddam Hussein and do nothing to liberate Iraq because he, through the gathering of intelligence,  found out that Saddam had ordered his father, George Bush the first, to be killed.

George Bush 2nd lied about Saddam owning weapons of mass destruction and even had some of his top officials, notably Collin Powell to lie on national television about these findings. Any American with a brain could have seen that the satellite photos of trailers that supposedly contained these weapons were to say the least inconclusive.

I referenced Collin Powell because he was one of the generals, along with General Norman Schwarzkopf,  leaders of Desert Storm 1, who ran Saddam out of Kuwait when the egotistical leader tried to expand his empire and holdings of oil. General Powell, like most African Americans who side with corrupt white people became cannon fodder for the media and has not been able to reap the benefits of his tenure in the military or his employment with the government.

What's even more alarming about the war in Iraq is the fact that Halliburton, the company where Vice President Dick Chaney was CEO, received $ billions of dollars in non-competitive bids from the Bush administration. Even  more alarming was that at least $ 1 billion dollars was declared lost, just like the thousands of lives lost unnecessarily.

Furthermore, and to fulfill his promise to big business, President Bush passed legislation that gave huge tax cuts to companies which eventually became one of the reasons that the American economy began to nose dive into the recent recession. Of course, the banking industry went unregulated which led to the demise of the housing market.

I find it quite interesting that the Republican Party's platform is to turn America over to the private sector without the oversight of the federal government while these big businesses continue to get caught cheating and illegally taking money from the citizens of this country.

And here we are today, with Iraq and the entire middle east under siege by ISIL, who is attempting to take over the region by raping the women, destroying ancient monuments, and killing any man who gets in their way. While Saddam Hussein was in power, this could not have happened because many of the men of ISIL were in Saddam's army and sternly controlled by this man that the American Government put in place.

So, the Republicans continue to talk to all of America like we're dumb, blind, and crazy, and by the number of these liars that continue to hold office, they are pretty successful with the tales that they tell.
