The pacifist civil rights movement is ending

Greetings my fellow observers,

As the Black Lives Matter protests continues, it is good to see that the young African Americans of our society have taken this movement very seriously and raising hell and simultaneously scaring white people to death. More importantly, they are beginning to impede the television media's ability to make money. What good white person in their right mind wants to watch a political campaign speech that is being interrupted by black people?

Mad Man loves this new crusade for African American freedom because the African Americans of his generation have been bamboozled into thinking that everything was cool and they actually had a chance for freedom and economic advancement in this country. A few of the "chosen" African Americans gained prominence in this country and were paraded before the masses and 'bam" we thought that we were forging ahead successfully.

Realistically speaking, the majority of African Americans in this country are no better off than they were 50 years ago. Black politicians have not been able to change this ongoing trend because white people still control the economic engine of this country and their salaries. How can one speak out against a system that's allowing them to live far better than their own race?

Personally speaking, Mad Man had to maintain some restraint of his political beliefs because he depended on the white man's money to allow him to take care of his family. Even when he became self employed there was always a certain degree of "brown nosing" that had to be done to keep his business afloat. As a matter of fact, most African Americans in Mad Man's generation had to play the same kind of games when it came to dealing with white business people. As long as they stayed civil, we didn't discuss the hardships that our fellow African Americans were experiencing.

Sidebar: Mad Man is now retired with a guaranteed income and is so elated that his freedom of speech allows him to piss off whomever he his pleases without fear of financial repercussions. Maybe this will come when he goes after the wrong people with too many observers.

Today's young people, because of their inability to move forward economically and educationally, have become quite angry and taken the gloves off which is extremely refreshing and Mad Man applauds them.

Before they became indoctrinated and started drinking the cool aid, many African Americans fought just like today's youngsters, but many of them became fat and happy with their white-given lifestyles, shrugged their shoulders, kept their mouths shut, and moved on with their lives.

A good example of how the old African Americans are thinking was demonstrated by Congresswoman Maxine Waters during a question and answer period with young African Americans for not going after President Obama for his passive approach to the discussion of black issues was that "the Congressional Black Caucus was afraid that because these young people loved the first African American President of the United States so much that they would come after them". Have you ever heard such a ridiculous line of BS?

Mad Man applauds these youngsters for their efforts and wouldn't mind seeing even more demonstrations that disrupt these very old
and tired political speeches, and the campaigns themselves. Especially when these candidates, for fear of repercussions from white voters refuse to even utter the phrase "Black Lives Matter".

Mad Man
