Calloused

Greetings my fellow Observers,

As Pope Frances travels the United States and stops to spread his Catholic love and happiness to all who will accept him, I find it quite disheartening that the Republican party and those who wallow in the trough of untruths and indignation with them, can't help but bemoan this very eloquent man's presence and words.

All sensible and ethical human beings understand where the Pope is coming from. He is staunch in his positions as the leader of the church and we all must respect him for this because he is unwavering in his beliefs. He doesn't waiver, nor does he try to spin the truth to fit the moment.

What Pope Frances does is provide a safe haven for all who are scorned by humanity while giving them a place to celebrate their faith.. With that said, Mad Man considers Pope Frances a real cool and calculating dude because while he's providing safe haven for those who are outcasts, he also is preaching his brand of faith. To me, this is an honest and forthright trade off because what you see with this Pope is what you get.

And herein lies the problem with the Republicans. How shameful is it of these people who speak so negatively of the most honest man on earth? What is it that makes you all such petty people that you cannot even give the most esteemed man of the cloth some slack without degrading his sheer existence?

I guess that when you are desperately holding on to whatever tiny piece of your existence that you have left, you will lash out at anyone. The only issue is that to those who respect and honor Pope Frances and his positions of faith, as well as others who respect this man for what he stands for, you all look like unethical fools.
