Greetings my fellow Observers,
It has officially been confirmed, the Republicans are truly a bunch of unethical liars and fear mongers and finally the truth is being told by one of their own who has been expelled from this very exclusive "Liars Club".
On his resignation from his positions as Speaker of the House and
a member of Congress, John Boehner is going out in a blaze of truth telling glory. His latest statements about the extreme right winged faction of the Republican party were quite interesting and caused Mad Man's heart to be filled with joy and exaltation.
Finally, somebody in the Republican party has told the truth !! Mr. Boehner's comments were pretty simple. His most important comment was this... " There are those in the party who are outlandishly making promises that they can't keep and promising to shut down the government over Obamacare and immigration was never, ever going to happen.
Sidebar: Oh the subtleties of life. Isn't it ironic that when the Republican Party was trying to defeat "Obamacare" it was called by the same name. Now that it is successfully up and running, it is called the "Affordable Care Act". Let's not even begin to discuss the outrageous lies by Donald Trump, Ben Carson and others about immigration. "Rapists and Murders???"
Mr. Boehner must be really fed up with his cohorts in the House of Representatives. He left one of the most prestigious positions in politics simply because he was tired of those who refused to even attempt to reach a compromise with President Obama. It is a known fact that right after the election, Eric Kantor and many Republicans met to discuss how to defeat President Obama and this was even before he set foot in the White House.
It has also been revealed and proven on a day to day bases that there are those in the party who just can't bring themselves to like President Obama. Their comments and voting records prove this and now Mr. Boehner is saying that these people voted on legislation based on their personal dislike for the first African American President of the United States.
As I continue to say, it is a very sad state of affairs when there are people in political office, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Lindsey Graham, et. al., who are determined to force their own brand of "political religion" down the throats of all Americans. And it took a frustrated member of this "Klan" to expose them for who they really are.
Sure, there is always refutable speculation, but when the words come from the leader of the pack, it's kind of hard to refute what's being said. Mad Man has yet to hear any rebuttal by the GOP at all regarding Boehner's comments because they do not want to dig their hole, in which they reside, any deeper.
My suspensions have always been that John Boehner was a conservative politician that really wanted to work with the President and create legislation with those across the aisle through compromise. Unfortunately, his ideals didn't jive with those in his party who are willing to lie, confuse, and create fear in the American public to promote their agenda. And frankly, it is a very dreadful proposition when the leader of their party could no longer stomach the charade.
Mad Man
