As the saga of Donald Trump continues with its onslaught of the media and the United States, it has taken yet another turn in its efforts to drag everyone into the muck. His verbal battle with Megyn Kelly has every media outlet clamoring for more negative exchanges as well as comments from the other candidates.
Ms. Kelly has decided not to continue with the crap tossing verbal barrage that has been created by Mr. Trump, but this entire unfortunate display of ignorance of the wealthy has taken another big money turn for the worst.
The CEO and President of FOX News, Mr. Roger Ailes has met with Mr. Trump and assured him that as long as he keeps giving them his earth shattering display of buffoonery, he will keep the likes of Ms. Kelly from asking the damaging questions that illicit harsh retorts from Mr. Trump. In essence, they have kissed and made up for the big bucks. Donald Trump keeps getting his free exposure on Fox and Fox continues to get this very entertaining one man show.
The recent debate that started all of this was the highest rated show of the year on Fox and really shattered many benchmarks for viewership. There continues to be a very high demand by sponsors to board the "Trump Train" regardless of how despicable and embarrassing it is for the Republican Party.
Only time will tell how long this pitiful display of human degradation will continue and the GOP candidates are hoping that the American public will eventually come to its senses, but right now Donald Trump is on a roll. He is like the blades of a weed whacker that just keeps turning and chopping down everything in its path. At present the remaining Republican Presidential candidates are doing their best to hold on, stay out of his way, until he self destructs.
The situation as it stands right now is that FOX News has promised Mr. Trump that it will harness its broadcasters and allow Donald to continue his tyrannical reign over FOX Broadcasting and the rest of the media. The Republican Party is nervous as hell while hoping that time runs out for Mr. Trump by the end of the year because when the campaign gets serious they are afraid of being left out of this race for wealth.
At present, the political agenda that these men should be discussing is taking back seat to Mr. Trump and his ability to market himself in his quest to attain more wealth FOX News and now, the rest of Media is happily riding along with him. Even Mad Man must give Donald Trump some credit. I am sure that you all have heard the phrase "working the room". Well Donald Trump is "working the country".
