Women Rangers

Greetings my fellow observers,

Two women, Captain Kristen Griest and 1st Lieutenant Shaye Haver recently graduated from the Army's elite ranger training school. These two are the first women ever to graduate from this school that trains men in the Army for "mortal hand to hand combat" and other very intense battles in close quarters.

You will never, ever find anyone more supportive of a woman's right to be whomever she wants to be, but for a woman to want to place herself in a situation where she must engage in a physical struggle with a military male equal is the most absurd notion that Mad Man has ever heard.

What do you think would happen to a woman who is in physical combat with a member of ISIS who is hyped up on crystal meth, alcohol, and whatever other drug that he can ingest? For the uninformed, crystal meth gives the user rather super human strength in addition to diabolical rage.

Statistically speaking, when a woman is engaged in physical combat with a man, her chances of dying are 167% greater than that of a man's. This alone is enough to stop any sane person from wanting to participant in this ridiculous notion under the guise of equal rights for women.

There are plenty of manly things for women to do in the military and they should pursue those with as much vigor as possible. They should be applauded and supported to the max, but to engage in physical combat with men is unbelievable and absurd. What happens when women suffer through those hormonal issues that do not happen in men? Do they get time off from battle or try to continue when they are definitely weaker than normal and out of sorts?

The Army Ranger School is a great training ground for women but they should just be happy with the exposure to all of the leadership programs that this training offers. This is where Mad Man believes many women will excel. Whether fitness standards were lowered to accommodate these women is irrelevant when compared to the idiocy of their being able to compete physically in battle with men.

The rights of women to "be who they want to be" is a legitimate endeavor but women must be realistic in the knowledge that there are some things that should be left to the men.
